Six years ago, I had my first experience of teaching social entrepreneurship when I was selected as a Teaching Fellow for Harvard University's Social Entrepreneurship Collaboratory. Last year, I was privileged to return to Harvard as a guest lecturer, and humbled to be part of a speaker line-up that included Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus, Ashoka's Bill Drayton, and Echoing Green's Cheryl Dorsey.
So it is with great honor that we announce today that the Harvard Social Entrepreneurship Collaboratory (known affectionately as the "SE Lab") has signed on as a supporter of the Amani Institute and our executive training course in social entrepreneurship to be held next month in Nairobi, Kenya. We also welcome SE Lab founder Gordon Bloom to our growing Advisory Council.
This latest generous support joins our existing partners Ashoka East Africa and the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership, to make a 5-star line-up of partners and supporters. We are humbled and determined to make them all proud.
