Cesar Y. Matsumoto

Social Innovation Consultant and Human Development Facilitator

Cesar is a Brazilian-Japanese social innovation consultant and human+organizational development facilitator. He has helped to create projects, public policies and businesses focused in human needs and collaboratively in government, third and private sectors.

He was one of the first persons in Brazil to adopt Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking and Theory U. He co-created the São Paulo School of Dialogue (2008). He is also former partner in Grupo Tellus – Public Services Design Agency where he developed the innovation methodology (2011) and a former member of the design team for ELIAS Brazil - Emerging Leaders Innovate Across Sectors –, for systemic leadership development and Theory U programme from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

Has a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (Brazil) and is a Biopsychologist from Instituto Visão Futuro. He is currently participating in the Artists of the Invisible Programme from Allan Kaplan in Goethean phenomenology approach for social development. Self-taught, Cesar concentrates his studies in human development and spirituality.
