Network Operations Supervisor at KOKO Networks

Kennedy is a network operations supervisor at KOKO Networks Ltd. with a strong background in engineering, technology, and clean energy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mining and processing engineering from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya. He also has a postgraduate certificate in social innovation management from Amani Institute. Currently, he is pursuing a Global Engineering Graduate Certificate from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Mortenson Center in Global Engineering.Kennedy has a diverse background in construction, utilities, and extractive resources.
He has experience in operations management, project management, and product development for low-resource technology and engineering projects. Previously managed internal development technologies and client projects at a previous employer, and has experience developing and managing solutions as well as building stakeholder relationships. He has worked with organisations focused on social and environmental impact.He is passionate about the impact of engineering on people’s lives, particularly in Africa for development with clean energy and social impact. He believes climate change poses a significant challenge to Africa’s subsistence land use. Kennedy believes there is a need to innovate business models to address these challenges and that social innovation will lead to the solution.
Kennedy is committed to leading by example and being a positive impact in both his professional and personal life. He is continuously seeking out new opportunities to learn and grow as a professional and is dedicated to using his skills and experience to make a meaningful difference in the world. In his free time, Kennedy can be found exploring the great outdoors, whether it’s hiking to the summit of a mountain or camping under the stars. He’s always up for an adventure.
