Öykü Sorgun

Öykü is a Turkish tech entrepreneur with around 6 years of experience in marketing. Currently, she is working at a bartering platform, called Barty, which she co-founded. Previously, she has worked at global media agencies and tech startups.

As a social innovation enthusiast, she focused on this topic in her Master's thesis: "Makerspaces' contribution to social innovation", where she investigated the phases of SI in the field of makerspaces.

She is currently volunteering at an impact investing NGO, called Etkiyap. In this field, she has recently completed the Social Return on Investment (SROI) Accredited Program by Social Value International. She thinks social innovation and impact investing go hand in hand and she would like to combine her knowledge and her experience to drive her career in this area.
