Mai Phuong Dang

Mai is a Vietnamese national with eight years of experience in education and human resources at international youth organizations, multinational corporations and consulting firms. Her career purpose is empowering youth to live to their fullest potential irrespective of their backgrounds. 

Her venture, NELL Education, offers a career empowerment program to help low-income students land decent jobs by providing employability skills training, experiential learning, character education and networking opportunities in a blended learning environment. In addition to running NELL Education, she also works for  Dynamic Consulting – a HR consulting firm specializing in Talent and Organizational Development. These roles give her the perspectives of both education providers and employers enabling her bridge the skills gap effectively.

Mai is keen on becoming actively involved in social good initiatives, learning languages and exploring new cultures. As a big fan of music, she loves playing the guitar and dancing especially Zumba. 

She is an Amani Institute Fellow because she wants to become a social innovator in education and experiential learning, widen her global network and immerse herself in a new culture.
