Leading in Times of Uncertainty

Course Description

Perhaps the most important capacity for social leaders and entrepreneurs is the ability to take action in the face of uncertainty. In fact, if we are being honest, we are always making decisions with limited information and without the “full picture”! Yet the realities of our world demand action. So what to do? In this course we will explore ways of looking at the world and our leadership that holds the paradox of our social constructed realities with a grounded analysis of power, partnership and collaboration. My hope is that participants will emerge from this course with fundamentally new ways of looking at the world, and a greater capacity and discipline to act and move forward with courage and confidence in the face of uncertainty. Class structure will be a mixture of experiential, collaborative, didactic, and reflective learning.
