Measuring Social Impact

Course Description

How do we put impact measurement into practice? What are the current best practices and frameworks that ensure we know what to measure? What are the most effective tools to efficiently collect and use data? And, most importantly, why does any of this matter?

This course will explore each of these questions, drawing on both field experience and recent case studies. We will engage with theory of change, logic models, indicator selection, data collection tools, analysis and reporting approaches with the lens of how each of these can be applied on the ground. Participants will apply these skills to real examples during the course. Moving past the jargon, our objective is to use data to achieve the impact we set out to achieve.

After this course, participants will be able to apply best practices in impact measurement and management to their specific sector and roles.
