Amani Social Innovation Framework To Be Taught in Brazilian University

Amani Institute, FAE Business University and Projeto Legado launch new partnership with a pioneer Post-Graduate Course in Social Entrepreneurship and Business in the south of Brazil.

Amani Institute is proud to announce a new partnership with the FAE University and Instituto Legado, based in Curitiba, Brazil. From September 2015, FAE University will start offering the new course for entrepreneurs, managers and professionals involved with social change. The course will be 450 hours distributed across 18 months.

According to Amani Institute Co-Founder, Ilaina Rabbat, “We are proud to work with FAE because they understand the value of partnerships to provide their students with new courses, methodologies and opportunities to build their careers of meaning and impact.”

The course will provide students with a global understanding about Social Innovation – through history, current best practice and hands-on work to gain the skills to apply social innovation with the Amani Social Innovation Framework. Students will also develop options to innovate to solve a social challenge.

For the Rector of FAE, Frei Nelson José Hillesheim, the timing is ideal for sharing missions. “It is fortunate to build this course along with the Institutes Legados and Amani.” “It is a big step”, says Roshan Paul, co-founder of Amani Institute. “It’s always been in our long-term strategy to work with universities to influence higher education, so this is the first big step in that direction”

O AMANI INSTITUTE FECHA PARCERIA E LANÇA PÓS GRADUAÇÃO EM UNIVERSIDADE BRASILEIRA

O Primeiro Curso Lato Senso do Sul do Brasil em Empreendedorismo e Negócios Sociais é Fruto da Parceria entre o Amani Institute, o Projeto Legado e a FAE Centro Universitário.

O Amani Institute se orgulha em anunciar a parceria com a Universidade FAE e com o Projeto Legado, estabelecida em Curitiba, no Estado do Paraná, Brasil. A partir de setembro de 2015 a FAE vai começar a oferecer a Pós-Graduação co-criada entre os parceiros, especialmente voltada para empreendedores, gestores e profissionais envolvidos em causas sociais. O curso tem 450 horas distribuídas em 18 meses.

“Aqui no Amani Institute estamos muito orgulhosos com essa parceria, principalmente porque permitirá aos alunos da FAE o contato com tópicos que abrem novos horizontes e inspiram a construção de uma carreira com propósito e impacto” conta Ilaina Rabbat, co-fundadora do Amani Institute. O curso vai oferece um panorama global sobre a inovação social através da história e fatos atuais, além da prática para adquirir habilidades enquanto aplicam a inovação social apoiando-se na estrutura proposta pelo Amani Institute. Os estudantes serão convidados a inovar em suas carreiras e em suas próprias vidas, para assim trabalhar em um desafio social.
