Aaron Henderson is from Orem, Utah, in the US, which is where he has spent most of his life. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Since graduating, he has worked as an analyst for a variety different industries and companies in real estate, credit, and wealth management.
Aaron went on a voluntary two-year religious mission for his church to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he fell in love with the language, people, and culture. He worked in many favelas in Brazil and felt a profound empathy for the local people. Upon returning to the United States, he was a volunteer Portuguese translator at Utah Valley University.
With knowledge and experience in Finance, Aaron has a keen interest in microfinance, impact investing, and applied economics. He is also passionate about health, opportunities for people with special needs, and water resources. Aaron decided to become an Amani Fellow because he believes he can make a difference in the world he lives in.
