Daniela Carnassale

Daniela is Italian and currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland. She works as a project and communications manager at the department of Banking and Finance of the University of Zurich, where she manages several research grants in the field of Sustainable Finance. Before moving to Switzerland, she spent 6 years in Brussels, where she worked as a project manager for several consulting companies operating in the field of development cooperation. In particular, she managed over 100 assignments for international donors such as the European Commission, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. Moreover, Daniela has experience with monitoring and evaluation missions in developing countries of Africa, Central and East Asia as well as the Caribbean.

With a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, Daniela has followed her passion for international cooperation and is strongly committed to pursue a meaningful career and to do her bit to build a fairer and more sustainable world. She joined the Amani program in Social Innovation Management to strengthen her skills and experiences acquired so far and to bring disruptive and innovative changes to the social impact sector.
