Emily Achieng

Emily is a resident of Nairobi, Kenya and has practised accounting and finance for over 5 years working in various companies across different sectors such as agriculture (Hygrotech East Africa Ltd & Lishabora Hydroponics ), Information Technology (Data Science Ltd), and FMCG (Wisepower Technologies). She pursued her studies in accounting and finance at KCA and Strathmore Universities. She is also a graduate of the Amani Leadership and Management for Impact (ALMI) Program at Amani Institute and is an Alumni of Engineers Without Borders Canada Kumvana Fellowship.

Emily is passionate about championing social economic justice and development. She applies her skills and interests to connect the dots between finance and socio-economic skills for sustainability. She believes the world is interconnected, and that the solutions to current problems lie in finding these connections and putting them to good use.
