Khaoula, from Tunisia, currently lives in Hamburg (Germany). She graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer in France after having a student-exchange year in Germany. She has been working for 6 years in the aerospace industry, starting as a young engineer at AIRBUS Helicopters and working in the field of System Engineering, Airworthiness, and Customer Services.
Khaoula is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Program Management in Humanitarian and Development Sectors at the Institute of International and Strategic Affairs in Paris. She has followed a course of Humanitarian Engineering at the American University of Beirut to design a solution to alleviate mental health issues within children in underserved communities after the blast in Beirut last summer.
Khaoula is also working with Techfugees to help develop their Basefugees platform. She is starting a Design Thinking coach certification with the vision to start a social entrepreneurship project in Germany and take back to her native community by making a change as a Woman Engineer.
