Miriam is a thinker, artist, and aspiring leader in social change. Having spent most of her upbringing and education in the United States, Miriam relocated to Nairobi in 2012 and has been working with various organizations in social impact such as Akilia Dada and Pawa254. She is a graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, California where she majored in African Studies and spent much of her time engaging with work that focuses heavily on social justice and community outreach. With her passions rooted in youth education, performing arts, and non-profit administration/social enterprise, Miriam enjoys utilizing her skills to help positively impact the development of artists, activists, and change makers both in Kenya and globally. In her spare time, Miriam is a budding singer-songwriter and music producer.
