Born and raised in the North of Spain, Rita studied Political Science at Carlos III University in Madrid. In 2013 she had the opportunity to move to Germany with the ERASMUS exchange program, and study at Humboldt University in Berlin. She fell in love with this constantly changing city and the independent spirit of its peoples, and decided to stay longer after finishing her studies.She has been dedicating her time and skills to different social causes, working with different NGO like CODOPA (Oviedo), Save the Children (Madrid),Kids und Rolli (Berlin) and currently in the refugee cause, which since 2015 is very present in the German capital.Rita was lucky to be able to travel throughout all her life and can speak Spanish, English, French and German. She loves learning from others, getting to know different cultures and points of view, exploring nature and making music. Her aim is to be part of a society that’s changing for the better.
