Amanda Luhmann

Born and raised in São Paulo, Amanda is from an Italian family and lived there for 6 months on an exchange program. While attending Insper she became part of GAS INSPER, a student organization promoting social initiatives and community values for the students where she moved from volunteer to president. This inspired her to build a career in service of helping others.

Graduating in economics in 2011 she worked at Itau BBA where she learned soft and technical skills. Looking for further opportunities to do impactful work, Amanda started looking into volunteer opportunities abroad, which led her to Nairobi, Kenya. Reconnecting with GAS she took on Projeto Abacaxi (Pineapple Project), which is responsible for promoting personal and professional consulting for nano entrepreneurs in marginalized communities. Dedicated to go beyond volunteering, Amanda is joining Amani Institute as a Fellow to accelerate her career of meaning and impact.
