Bruna Viana De Freitas

Participatory Processes Facilitator, CoCriar

Acting as a facilitator of dialogue and participatory processes, Bruna believes in broadening participation to reach fairer decisions and more sustainable solutions for all actors involved in an issue. She is especially interested in creating alliances for sustainable development between companies, governments, and civil society.

Bruna holds a degree in Public Relations, a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Innovation Management from Amani Institute, and a Diploma in Social Innovation from the United Nations University for Peace (UPEACE). In 2021, she was selected by Chevening Awards as a fellow on the Master’s program in "Power, Participation and Social Change" at the Institute of Development Studies - Sussex University.

Currently, a partner at CoCriar, Bruna has experience with online and on-site facilitation with stakeholders and partners from diverse sectors such as environmental conservation, education, participatory public policymaking, industries, and cultural foundations. She has worked with organizations such as Norsk Hydro, Vale mining company, Raízen, Greenpeace, Renova Foundation, Initiative for Responsible Mining (IRMA), Semear Institute, Laudes Foundation, and others.
