Cassia Suguinoshita

Cassia is a Brazilian of Japanese descendent born in Sao Paulo and raised in Holland. While studying Business at Sao Paulo University, Cassia managed a literacy program for adults (Alfa-Usp) and a college preparatory course for low income young people (Cursinho Fea Usp). During college, she was inspired to become an entrepreneur herself and started a clothing brand with her sisters. She also worked for Artemsia, a not-for-profit organization which handles the dissemination and promotion of businesses for impact in Brazil.

Following her graduation, Cassia worked in Marketing and Sales at multinational companies for seven years with commodities and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods.) Despite her career in the private sector, her main passion lies in creating impact and purpose through her work in order to create a better world. The topics that most interest her are sustainable and ethical fashion, fair trade, and conscious consumption. The youngest of three sisters, her family is her inspiration. Despite being a little bit shy, she loves meeting different people and travelling whenever she can.
