Flávia Sartori was born and raised in São Caetano do Sul, a city in the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She graduated with a Bachelor in Journalism from Faculdade Cásper Libero, in Sao Paulo. Flávia has 5 years of experience working with communication in agencies, private companies and nonprofit organizations.
In 2015, she left Brazil and for almost two years traveled alone around Europe doing volunteering work and improving her language skills. In 2018, she started to explore the social impact area by engaging with social organizations. For one year and a half she worked in communication and projects management at Ashoka Brazil. One of the key projects she coordinated is the LeadYoung project in Brazil - a series of videos about the first cohort of Brazilian Ashoka Young Changemakers (2019).
