Since 2010 Lisa Mikkelsen has been a member of the human capital team at Omidyar Network, supporting portfolio organizations in the areas of recruitment and talent management. While focused primarily on the financial inclusion portfolio, she works across all investment areas and geographies. In that role, she advises on human capital strategies, engages in people operations initiatives, and provides coaching to organizational leaders, enhancing their ability to manage current talent and identify future leaders.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network in 2010, Lisa served as the director of recruiting at technology startup Inflection. She built Inflection’s recruiting department and led all talent initiatives. Previously, Lisa spent nearly six years at QuinStreet, managing a team of recruiters and developed the human resources function as the company rapidly scaled. Lisa received a bachelor’s degree in human development from the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
