Miguel Herrera Castro

Miguel was born in Ica, Perú. He holds a dual Bachelor's Degree in Social and Public Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has worked as a commercial and operations executive in the retail industry, as a project manager and chief financial officer in Proyecto Alto Perú, an innovative community development NGO. He has also worked on social innovation projects and has field experience with vulnerable urban communities and incarcerated youth. Miguel seeks to learn new ways to scale social impact. His motivation to join Amani Institute’s Social Innovation Management Program is to grow as a person in order to better serve himself, others and nature.
