Maria’s undergraduate degree was in International Relations, focusing on human rights and cultural diversity. She spent a year in Angola, in a rural mission with the Salesians of Don Bosco, where she taught Geography, Sociology and Computing. Upon returning to Argentina, she was a volunteer for two years in the Focolare Movement, intrigued by their vision of unity and understanding between cultures and religions. Maria likes building bridges – not as an engineer, but as a mediator; building bridges between religions, people, countries, and cultures.
