Nadya Hernández Beltrán

“Try to leave this world better than you found it”.

Nadya is a Social Communicator and Journalist and holds a Master's degree in Communication, Development, and Social Change and a post-graduate certification in Social Innovation Management. Currently, she works at WINGS which is a network that promotes the development of philanthropy worldwide. Since 2008, Nadya has worked in international/local NGOs and governmental organizations, in areas such as public relations, networking, communication for development, and project management. She also has had the opportunity to participate in academic programs in Germany, Mexico, and Norway. In 2017 Nadya was an ICFJ (International Center for Journalists) Fellow at PeaceTech Lab in the United States. She has gathered broader international experience and has coordinated projects and activities on issues related to democracy, peacebuilding, civil society and philanthropy in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. In her spare time, Nadya writes for IJNet on how journalists are innovating in different parts of the world.
