Yu Chia-Lin (Robben)

After graduating from National ChengChi University (NCCU) in Taipei with a BA in International Business, Robben worked in market research for three years in Taiwan. At Acorn Marketing and Research Consultants and IPSOS Taiwan, he launched many products to the market and achieved a high conversion rate and customer acquisition at a low cost. He also gained experience in field interviewing and customer need analytics. He served a one-year military service in rural hospitals and managed a research project for CTBC Charity Foundation. This caused Robben to begin paying close attention to social issues around the urban-rural gap, such as poor education and the shortage of medical resources faced by disadvantaged children and their family. Since then, he has sought solutions and new opportunities to improve these issues. Robben likes nature and activities such as surfing, hiking, and cycling. He has cycled around the Island of Taiwan and is now looking for his next challenge.
