Measuring Social Impact

Course Description

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes – Marcel Proust

Over the course of the 3 day workshop, participants will explore what impact means at the systems, organizational and individual level. They will be able to discern what impact means, familiarize themselves with the building blocks of a theory of change and with systems change. Through case studies, participants will be able to identify what long-term changes they seek to see, what needs to change and why, and the context for change.

Between 50 to 75 percent of the workshop will be spent in a mixture of individual and group exercises. This will include using tools that unlock the collective wisdom of a group, such as the art of hosting techniques, appreciative inquiry and systemic work, alongside scientific frameworks.
